Why is Budgewoi Lake looking so neglected? What is being done to clear the weed and the grass areas cleared?
just a reminder that Pelican Feeding is one of our main and popular attraction and alot of tourist enjoys it.
Also, why just sit back and complain.
Locals at The Entrance and Wyong shire residents = Encourage to get them emtotionally involved , everyone deep down wants to valued and to be useful.
If we want our main beach to be clean such as The Entrance Beach – lets get some volunteers or employ people to this ? Start from going to all Wyong shire schools and get this teenagers to participate.
Lets have a Bus For locals and educate our youngsters and kids and even adults apreciate our areas such as Wyrabalong national parks, terilbah reserve, crakneck lookout, coastal walks at Bateau Bay.

Lets act one step ahead.

The seaweed left to rot on The Entrance main beach over the peak holiday season has been a disgrace. It stinks! Last week when walking along the beach with my 2 yr old we were attacked by thousands of flies. Why isn’t the main tourist beach looked after? The beach, channel and lake surrounds are also filthy with garbage and have been since the Tuggerah Lakes Mardi Gras. A burnt out car has been left on the cycleway for months. I wouldn’t want to holiday in garbage dump. Let’s get the basics right.
not normally being one to comment on such matters but i do have strong feelings and concerns about the entrance channel having lived here for 50 years it is very sad to see the condition it is in at the moment.personally i know of at least 1 partition being gathered.i look at your web site and all i see is people boating and fishing and thats because thats what residents and tourists want to do at the entrance we cant fish and prawn if the channel is closed dont build a break wall because if it doesnt work there will be too much i told you so just get down there with dozers and dig it out dredging has failed all the sand dumped just got washed back into the channel sell the sand give it away just get rid of it and quick we had the best fishing and prawning season after the june floods 2 years ago get down there and talk to the locals go fishing on the wall believe me fishing is what people want not bird watching the birds only cause a big mess kill the trees and cause pelican itch they should stop that pelican feeding they dug it out in the 80s why not try it again any way you have probably heard all this before and it seems your priorities are other areas but please try something soon
